Comupra — the Ribeiro de Abreu United Community Council — was born on the banks of the Ribeirão Onça in Belo Horizonte, in 2001. This wonderful crew has achieved so much over these decades, especially better spaces and ecosystems for every kind of creature, the human kind included.

What did you achieve, for example?
- Henrique:
The Ribeirão Onça Community Riverside Park, which was born at Comupra, is now being built — 5.5 km long and over R$120 million in investment for this and future generations to enjoy waterfalls, river beaches, courts and wonderful squares! Take a look at the park project

I planted and harvested, cared and was cared for by the friendships of Baixo Onça. So many dear people, but especially Helena, Roneide and Itamar de PaulaResident of Ribeiro de Abreu, Belo Horizonte. Founder of Comupra. made my life so much more alive 🌱

Along the way I made an app for us to keep track of the chickens...
CPF (Brazilian ID number) included — more thorough than a public health record

keep track of our customers, sales and expenses, with a financial spreadsheet and everything!

and record our planting experiments and how we care for the space
how much I learned from these masters! In 5 months I went from clueless to slightly less clueless!

And since Comupra has 25+ years of SO MANY stories and achievements, I also started its digital archive with a website made with lots of love.
